Abraham Lincoln School’s PTO, along with volunteer help from school staff and parents of other area elementary school children, held a family carnival night on May 14. Students and their siblings could get their faces painted, wear off some energy in the three bounce houses or by playing Z-Tag, eat food and snacks provided free of charge, and meet with therapy dogs, a Green County Sheriff’s deputy, a Monroe Police officer, volunteer firefighters, and Green County 802 EMS crew, checking out the vehicles, blaring the sirens and receiving honorary badges.
