DARLINGTON - Families First-New Beginnings of Lafayette County held its annual birthday party for all the babies who participated in the Families First-New Beginnings program and who were born at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County in 2012.
Those who attended participated in a story time of nursery rhymes in both English and Spanish. The celebration continued with a Dora and Diego birthday cake and each family received a gift.
The Families First-New Beginnings Program is offered to all expectant mothers through Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County. The Lafayette County Health Department and University of Wisconsin-Extension is designed to provide families support and education throughout pregnancy and their child's first year.
