MONROE - Having been named Pull of the Year for six years by the Badger State Tractor Pull Association, the Green County Fall National Truck and Tractor Pull will again play host to some of the most talented and recognized names in the tractor and truck pulling circuit.

For the 11th year, GCFN will draw pullers from more than 10 states Sept. 23 to the Green County Fairgrounds in Monroe. The GCFN is a nonprofit charitable organization that donates all proceeds back to the community.

The event starts at noon and will last until about 7 p.m. GCFN welcomes back Madison County, who will be playing from 8 p.m. to midnight, rain or shine. In case of rain for the tractor pull, tickets purchased will be honored in 2018.

Truck and tractor classes include Limited Pro Stock, Super Semis, Super Farm, Pro Stocks, 466 Hot Farm, Light Limited Super Stock, Unlimited Alcohol SS, 640 Pro Farm, TWD Mod Truck and 540 Limited Pro Stock.

Free parking and camping will be available on the grounds. There will be a $10 charge for pit area parking. No carry-ins will be allowed.

Those attending will have a chance to purchase GCFN can coozies, with all proceeds going to Christina Foley, a 37-year-old Monroe mom with stage three cancer.

Everyone is encouraged to purchase tickets prior to the day of the pull. The ticket price of $15 will include the pull, band admission and a chance to win more than 40 prizes valued at more than $10,000. Tickets purchased the day of the pull will not be entered in the drawing, and tickets for the band will be an additional $5.
