The School District of Monroe recently announced Student Excellence Award for September.

Those who received the award are Ellie Johanson, Abraham Lincoln Elementary first-grader; Nicole Stilson, Monroe High School senior; Devan Castellanos Olmos, Parkside Elementary School third grader, Cristo Ferandez Sanchez, Northside Elementary School fourth-grader; William Keehn, Monroe Middle School sixth-grader; Taylor Herbst, MMS eighth-grader; and Bradyn Keehn, MMS sixth-grader.

William and Bradyn Keehn were recognized as Parkside Elementary School’s students for May; they were absent for the Board of Education meeting where the May recipients were recognized.

The School District of Monroe Staff Excellence Award for September 2019 was awarded to Sarah Bodell, Northside Elementary School music teacher.
