Steve and Tari Dower, of Gratiot, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kim Dower, to Mike Finkenbinder, son of Mary Jo Finkenbinder, of Darlington, and Kelly Finkenbinder, of Monroe.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Black Hawk High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where she received a degree in criminal justice. She is currently employed as an admission advisor at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
The future groom is a 2003 graduate of Darlington High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where he received a degree in civil engineering. He is currently employed at MSA Professional Services in Dubuque as a civil engineer.
The couple will wed on October 17, 2009 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Darlington.
