Amanda King and Jason Wendler announce their engagement and forthcoming wedding. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Karen and John Buck, Brodhead, and Dennis and Lilly King, San Mateo, Calif. The groom-to-be is the son of Janet Wendler, Brodhead, and Mike Wendler, Monroe.
Both are graduates of Brodhead High School.
The future bride is presently employed by Dr. Carter and Dr. Eckdhal, Monroe.
The future groom is co-owner of Architectural Metals, Loves Park, Ill.
The couple is planning a 2 p.m. August 8 wedding at Krape Park in Freeport, with a reception to follow at W1061 Ten Eyck Road, Brodhead. All family and friends are invited to share their special day.
