Sarah Elaine Wegmueller and Christopher Wiles Kettenmann announce their engagement and forthcoming wedding.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Becky Wegmueller, Monroe. She is earning a J.D. at Pace University School of Law in White Plains, N.Y. and her Master's Degree in environmental management at Yale University School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. She is currently working as a summer associate at the law firm of Beveridge and Diamond, P.C. in Washington, D.C. Upon graduating from Pace and Yale in June 2014, she will be begin a judicial clerkship with Chief Justice Chase Rogers of the Supreme Court of Connecticut.
The groom-to-be graduated in June 2003 from Carleton College in Northfield, Minn., with a Bachelor of Arts in international relations. He is the chief energy strategist for Prime Executions, stock brokerage firm in New York City. He analyzes the performance of energy companies, from oil and gas companies to renewable energy firms. The future groom is also the lead guitarist in the rock band Hungry Duck and performs regularly in numerous New York City venues.
The couple is planning an outdoor wedding on the Wegmueller family farm in September. Following the wedding, the couple will reside in New York City.
