Joe and Lori Scherer, Orangeville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Scherer, to Seth Carroll, son of Doug and Cheryl Carroll, formerly of Stockton.
The bride-to-be is a 2011 graduate of Orangeville High School and a 2013 graduate of Highland Community College. She is currently studying at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, anticipating a 2015 bachelor's degree in elementary education.
The groom-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Stockton High School and a 2010 graduate of Highland Community College. He is studying at Southeastern University, Lakeland, Fla., pursuing a bachelor's in the multidisciplinary study of Bible and Theology.
Following a May 30, 2015 wedding in Monroe, the couple will make their home in Lakeland, Fla.
