Kendra K. Naef and Thomas J. Scherg, both of Appleton, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Randy and Marilyn Naef, Monroe. The future groom is the son of Steve and Carlene Scherg, Neenah, and Kathy Scherg, Menasha.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Monroe High School, earned a bachelor of science degree from University of Wisconsin-Stout and earned her master of science degree from Iowa State University. She is a family and consumer sciences teacher at Kimberly High School.
The future groom is a graduate of Appleton East High School and currently attends Fox Valley Technical College. He is a production artist at JanSport.
A family wedding is planned in August 2008 with picnic receptions to follow later in the month.
