Allan Irion and Lori Johnson announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Stanley and Sharon Johnson of Elkhorn, formerly of Orangeville. She graduated from Orangeville High School in 1998 and then received an Associate of Arts degree from Highland Community College. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2008. The future bride is a registered nurse specializing in critical care and emergency medicine and works in Milwaukee for the level one trauma center Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin. Johnson also works part time in an emergency department for Aurora Health Care.

The groom-to-be is the son of Ray and Patricia Irion of Shannon, Illinois. He graduated from Eastland High School in 1997 and obtained his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2001. Irion currently designs railroad construction equipment for Nordco, located in the Milwaukee area.

Irion and Johnson were set up by a mutual friend from Orangeville, enjoy traveling the world together and currently reside in Milwaukee. The couple plan to wed in December in downtown Milwaukee with the ceremony at Grace Lutheran Church, followed by a reception at the historic Pfister Hotel.
