John Heim, the future groom, is a 2002 graduate of Lena-Winslow High School and a 2007 graduate of Western Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is employed by Lindgren, Callihan, Van Osdol in Sterling, Ill.
The couple is planning a July 12 wedding at the Union Presbyterian Church in Monroe.
