Art J. Farinha and Maria L. Vargas, Petaluma, Calif, announce their engagement and forthcoming wedding. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Nancy Vargas and Rich Bracco, Petaluma, Calif., and Enrique Vargas, Kenosha, and granddaughter of Dorothy Wicklund, St. Germain, formerly of South Wayne, and the late Arvid Wicklund.
The bride-to-be attended Darlington and Monroe elementary schools and graduated in 2002 from Casa Grande High School, Petaluma. She will complete her bachelor of science degree in nursing in May 2008 at Sacramento State University. She is completing her nursing internship in Labor/Delivery at Northbay Hospital in Fairford, Calif.
The future groom is a 2000 graduate of Casa Grande High School, Petaluma. He is a 2007 graduate of Santa Rosa Police Academy and currently a Petaluma police officer.
The couple will be married June 14, 2008 in Petaluma, Calif.
