Melissa Bishopp and Glen Benafield, both of Monroe, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Parents of the bride-to-be are Kim Bishopp, Rochester, Minn., and the late Donald Bishopp. Parents of the future groom are Grady and Carol Benafield, Brodhead.

The couple will be wed at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Pleasant View Park, Monroe.
