GREEN BAY - Albany FFA members Jada Flannery and Rob Schroeder attended the EDGE (Experiencing, Discovery, Growth and Excellence) Conference in Green Bay March 18-19.

EDGE is a personal development conference designed for junior high and middle school students in the FFA organization.

More than 350 junior high and middle school members attended the conference designed to help students learn to develop and maintain a positive outlook on life, deal with negative peer pressure and motivate themselves and others. The conference provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to set and achieve goals in all areas of their lives. This year's theme was "The Teamwork Experience."

The EDGE Conference was presented by Rhett Laubach, owner of YourNextSpeaker LLC, and Craig Hillier. Laubach works with organizations interested in developing leadership potential. As a professional keynote speaker and trainer, author, leadership expert and brain tumor survivor, his speaking career has taken him to 48 states, the Bahamas and Canada and to more than 1 million audience members. Hillier has spoken to more than 2 million people across the United States since 1990.
