Dave Mosher and Associates Insurance Services Inc. announces the appointment of Nick W. Duerst as a producer for the New Glarus office. Duerst is licensed in property, casualty, life and health and will provide personal and commercial insurance coverage in the area.
Previously Duerst was an exclusive Allstate agent focusing on auto and homeowners insurance.
Duerst grew up in New Glarus and served in the Wisconsin National Guards' 1158th Transportation Unit based in Monroe. He has been involved in many community organizations including the New Glarus EMS program, as a volunteer firefighter with the New Glarus Fire Department and is a current member of the New Glarus FFA Alumni association. He is also a certified hunter education instructor. His hobbies include camping, fishing, and hunting. He resides in Monticello along with his wife and children.
Duerst considers customer service an important aspect of being an insurance agent and wants his clients to know that he can be contacted at any time of the day or night. He plans to continue his insurance knowledge by attending Certified Insurance Counselor classes.
