LENA - Lena Living Center is opening its doors to help needy families and children this holiday season. Lena Living Center will be a dropoff site for Toys for Tots and for the local Lena food pantry. When you drop off an item either for the food pantry or Toys for Tots, register for a chance to win a $25 gas card for supporting two wonderful causes.
The Lena community blood drive from 2:30 to 6;30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, will be hosted by the Lena Living Center. Look for the Rock River Valley Blood Center bus parked at the Lena Living Center, 1010 S. Logan St. in Lena. Donors may schedule time-saving appointments by calling Eleanor at (815) 369-4561. Donors need to bring a valid ID and drink plenty of fluids before donating blood.
