BRODHEAD - The United Way of Green County Inc. sixth annual Golf Outing and Golf Ball Drop is planned for Aug. 15 at Decatur Lake Golf Course and Country Club in Brodhead. Registration and lunch begins at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. The golf ball drop is approximately 6 p.m. Rain date is Friday, Aug. 22.

Registration deadline was August 5. The $75 golf fee includes: green fee/18 holes, cart, lunch, T-shirt and gift bag. An additional $10 per golfer is charged for late registration.

After golfing, enjoy dinner at the Wedges Restaurant and Pub for Friday night fish fry; no reservations required.

In order to make this outing financially successful and the most fun possible, flag events are sponsored on every hole throughout the Decatur Lake Country Club golf course. Sponsors are provided signage at the tee box on the hole they are sponsoring and receive printed recognition in the outing program.

• Gold sponsors, $400; single sponsor for the hole and the only sponsorship signage at the tee box.

• Silver sponsors, $200; two sponsors for the hole, each with a sign posted at the tee box.

• Bronze sponsors, $100; four sponsors for hole, each with signage at tee box.
