DODGEVILLE: Contractors wanted for SWCAP program

DODGEVILLE - Southwestern Wisconsin Community Action Program is looking for building trades contractors.

With funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the agency's weatherization program expects its workload to increase about 50 percent over the next year. The Action Program awards about 60 percent of its weatherization work to building trades contractors. Specific needs are for contractors with expertise in side-wall insulation, electrical, plumbing, and heating, ventilation & air conditioning.

Increased weatherization work will be available through the Action Program or through its sister agency, Project Home, in Dane, Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, and Richland counties.
