MONROE - The Green County Genealogical Society will show the documentary "Forced Landing" at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Monroe Public Library second-floor meeting room.
The film tells the story of airmen shot down over Switzerland and kept in the infamous Wauwilermoos punishment camp during World War II. Included are interviews of some of the imprisoned. POW medals were awarded to 143 of these airmen in 2014.
