MONROE - Whitney Disch, daughter of Rod and Anita Disch, Monroe, has earned the opportunity to attend the 2009 National American Miss Pageant through her scored event, acting competition.

She will represent the state of Wisconsin in the national pageant to be held during Thanksgiving weekend at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif.

Whitney's activities include volleyball, basketball, dance, softball, soccer, 4-H, guitar lessons, chorus, tennis, student council and community service.

Each girl has a chance to win a new 2009 Ford Mustang convertible, scholarships and other prizes.
