MONROE - The Green County Democrats and Progressives will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 at Fiesta Cancun Restaurant, 128 W. 8th St.

John Waelti, a retired economics professor, will discuss the federal and state impact of fiscal policy decisions before the U.S. Congress, including the debt ceiling debate and "fiscal cliff" deal.

A short business meeting will follow the program.

An informal social time and dinner hour will be from 5 to 6 p.m.
