THE 2023 National Blue Ribbon School Award Ceremony was held on Nov. 16 and 17 in Washington, District of Columbia. Steve Fitzsimons, Darlington Elementary and Middle School (DEMS) seventh and eight grade teacher and Michael Flanagan, DEMS Principle were honored to represent DEMS at the ceremony. They brought back a plaque to display and a flag to fly outside the building to commemorate the rare distinction.
