WHITEWATER - The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater announced the names of students who received degrees during the winter commencement ceremonies on Saturday, Dec. 14 in UW-Whitewater's Kachel Fieldhouse.
Area students included:
• New Glarus: Haley Shutter graduated Magna Cum Laud with a bachelor's of science in education degree in communication sciences and disorders.
• Monticello: Derek McGowan graduated with a bachelor's of science in education degree in physical education.
• Monroe: Gina Molinaro graduated with a bachelor's degree in English. Leslie Einbeck graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor's of business administration degree in finance. Abby Hlubek graduated Magna Cum Laud with a bachelor's of science in education degree in early childhood education. Brandi Zemlicka graduated with a master's degree in business administration. James Underwood graduated with a bachelor's of science degree in computer science.
• Brodhead: Brynn Pinnow graduated with a bachelor's degree in communication. Delaney Fenwick graduated Magna Cum Laud with a bachelor's of science in education degree in special education.
• Belleville: Erin Relyea graduated with a master's of science in education degree in special education.
Cum Laude students had a GPA of 3.4 to 3.59.; Magna Cum Laude students had a GPA of 3.6 to 3.84; and Summa Cum Laude students had a GPA of 3.85 and above.
