AMES, Iowa - At Iowa State University's spring commencement ceremonies, almost 4,600 students received degrees.
The university awarded 3,818 undergraduate degrees, 496 master's degrees, 141 veterinary medicine degrees and 140 doctor of philosophy degrees.
Of the students receiving bachelor's degrees, 1,141 graduated "With Distinction" (cum laude, magna cum laude or summa cum laude). A total of 106 students graduated as members of the honors program.

Belleville: Darien Woods, Bachelor of Science, kinesiology and health
Monroe: Katlyn DeVoe, Bachelor of Science, agricultural engineering, cum laude
MENOMONIE - Three students from Monroe graduated in May from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Enrollment for the fall semester was about 9,500.
The Monroe graduates are Timothy Cline, Master of Science in applied psychology; Matthias Eiserman, Bachelor of Science in construction; and Steven Knox, Bachelor of Science in health, wellness and fitness.
WACO, Texas - Baylor University, a private Christian university, conferred degrees on more than 2,500 graduates during spring commencement exercises May 13-14 in the Ferrell Center on the Baylor campus.
Catherine Victoria Weeden, Monroe, received a Bachelor of Science in chemistry.
