STEVENS POINT - The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point announced the graduates from the 2012 spring commencement ceremonies.

Area students included Eveline M. LaPointe, Albany, bachelor of science in health promotion; Emily M. Thornton, Albany, bachelor of fine arts in art with an emphasis in graphic design, cum laude honors; Katherine E. Arnold, Brodhead, bachelor of science in biochemistry, magna cum laude honors; Joy Gerhards, Darlington, bachelor of science in geoscience with an emphasis in hydrogeology, magna cum laude honors; Julia A. Zander, Darlington, bachelor of science in web and digital media development; and Shanna L. Karls, Monticello, bachelor of science in athletic training, magna cum laude honors.
