Marissa E. Hartwig, daughter of Lori Merwin, South Wayne, graduated from Beloit College May 9 with bachelor of arts degrees in psychology and creative writing with magna cum laude honors. Hartwig also achieved academic distinction during the spring term of the 2010 academic year at Beloit College and was named to the dean's list, which recognizes students who have maintained at least a 3.4 cumulative semester grade point average.
