MONROE — The Green County Veterans Memorial Park will hold a Memorial Day Dedication at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 26. 

GCVMP President William Hustad will begin with opening remarks, followed by GCVMP Vice President Larry Ayres who will present the invocation. The Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem will follow. This year’s guest speaker will be the VFW State Commander Gundel Metz. Board member Donna Douglas will then read names of recent donors, monetary donors for brick and war era plaques. Ayres will present closing comments. The Green County Sheriff’s Department will present the Color Guard and taps will be played by board member Alex Olson.
