STEVENS POINT - Michael Wolfe, Monroe, and Jacob Marty, Monticello, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point during the university's 2014 winter commencement ceremonies.

Wolfe graduated with a Bachelor of Science in forestry management and Marty graudated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in wildlife ecology-research and management.



AMES, Iowa - Iowa State University announced the names of undergraduates who have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the 2014 fall semester dean's list.

Students named to the dean's list must have earned a GPA of at least 3.50 while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.

Area students include: Colton Steven Purdy, Albany; Stephanie Jean Williams, Argyle; Darien Rae Woods, Belleville; Andrea Jo McGowan, Blanchardville; Elizabeth Rae Pendergrass, Monroe; and Carson J. Root, Monroe.



JANESVILLE - The University of Wisconsin-Rock County announced the names of students recognized for their academic achievements during the fall 2014 semester.

To be named to the dean's list, a full-time student must complete a minimum of 12 credits. Part-time students are eligible when they have completed at least 15 credits with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 and have carried at least three credits during the semester.

Nicholas Phillips, Albany, and Andrew Roe, Monroe, were awarded highest honors for earning a 4.0 GPA.

Cortney Ball, Brodhead, was awarded high honors for earning a 3.75 through 3.99 GPA.

Honors were awarded to Katelyn Stephens, Argyle; Abigail Condon, Brodhead; Tad Drain, Brodhead; and Rhese Morgan, Monroe, for earning a 3.5 through 3.74 GPA.
