MONROE - The July 24 deadline is fast approaching for Green County Leader Class of 2008-09 applications to be submitted to the Green County Development Corporation.
Green County Leaders is a program that was developed to ensure Green County would have the leaders in business, industry and government it would need to face the challenges of today and the future. The program consists of an orientation, nine (9) classes and a graduation banquet.
Classes are held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month, from September through May, and focus on leadership skills and on issues Green County communities and residents are or will be facing in the future.
