BELOIT - Family Services of Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois is selling Valentine's Day baskets filled with chocolate as a fund raiser. Cost is $25, and all proceeds benefit the programs of Family Services, including the Sexual Assault Recovery Program (SARP) of Rock and Green counties, the Beloit Domestic Violence Center, CASA of Rock County, The Key: Transitional Living Program and the Kathy Reynolds House.

Each basket is filled with Dove, Lindt and Ghirardelli chocolates, as well as a candle donated by Swiss Colony, and a wooden flower donated by 4-Ever Flowers. A selection of poetry is included in each basket, as well as a Valentine's Day card. Each basket will be gift wrapped for pick up.

Baskets can be ordered by calling Family Services SWANI, (608) 365-1244. Baskets can be paid for when picked up, or money can be brought to or mailed to Family Services, 423 Bluff St. Beloit, WI., 53511. Baskets will be available for pick up from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, and from 9 to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13 at the Family Services' office, and the CASA office, 115 E. Court St. , Suite 207, Janesville.

Pick up in Green County will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13 in the lower level conference room of the Green County United Way building, 1505 Ninth St., Monroe.

Family Services is home to nine area programs, including Youth2Youth, Beloit Domestic Violence Center, CASA of Rock County, The Key: Transitional Living Program and the Kathy Reynolds House, Consumer Credit Counseling Services, Beloit Home Companion Registry, Sexual Assault Recovery Program of Rock and Green counties, and mental health counseling for men, women and children. Family Services is a United Way agency.
