DARLINGTON - The City of Darlington Police Department will host its annual Police Brat Feed and Ball Game on Thursday, Aug. 6, at Riverside Park (behind Piggly Wiggly). Officers will be serving brats, hot dogs, chips and beverages from 5 p.m. until they are sold out.
At 7 p.m., local, county and state law enforcement officers will comprise "The Enforcers" softball team that will go up against "The Community All Stars" team of Darlington business representatives and community members.
This is the 12th year the department has hosted the event, which benefits the Darlington Drug Abuse Resistance Education program.
