DARLINGTON - The Lafayette County Historical Society will have a workshop on creating Valentines, beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, at the downstairs room in the museum in Darlington. The presenter will be Carol Getman, owner of the Oh So Much Fun shop in Mineral Point. The workshop, open to both adults and children, will be Valentines with an old fashioned flavor. Each attendee will complete a lovely finished work of "heart and art" just in time for Feb. 14. The workshop is free except for a $2 per person charge for materials.
