MONROE - The Benjamin Harrison Chapter of the DAR will meet Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Swiss Alps Restaurant at noon for lunch and the program will begin at 1:15 p.m.
The program, "My Artistry," will be presented by Jeanne Ausmus, a local artist. Most of her work is of a historical nature and includes the former Monroe schoolhouses which have been replaced. Her meticulous work is done in colored pencil.
Ausmus will bring her post cards and the Sesquicentennial Coloring Books which are available for sale with the proceeds going to the Historic Cheese Museum and the Monroe Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The DAR business meeting will follow. The public is welcome to attend.
