MONROE - The Benjamin Harrison Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet for lunch at noon Tuesday, Nov. 3, at the Swiss Alps Restaurant in Monroe.
Pallative care will be the topic presented by Marge Trumpy, R.N., a member of the Nurse Coordinative Care team of the Monroe Clinic. Palliative care is a relatively recent addition to the types of care provided in Monroe. It is a medical specialty focused on the needs of seriously ill patients and their families.
