BRODHEAD - It's a full-house (times three) for the dancers of the Brodhead Dance Academy. Students will be performing this weekend on Saturday and Sunday in three shows, titled "At the Movies!" Adding a third show marks the increasing size of the academy.
"Our dancers have wonderful families who come to see their achievements and show their support for their dancing talents. We are very lucky to have such a great audience and they really love the show. Each year it gets bigger and better as our dancers grow up on the stage," said DeAnne Boegli, director of the Brodhead Dance Academy. "This year we will debut a ballet production with 16 dancers."
Shows are 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. today and 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, in the Brodhead High School auditorium. A limited number of tickets available from Brodhead Health and Fitness Center for $5 each; call (608) 897-3488 to reserve a ticket. (all tickets must be picked up at the Fitness Center prior to show.)
