Crafters called to Darlington Farmers Market
Garden_N2204P68003H

DARLINGTON — On Sept. 23-24, the Lafayette County Historical Society is holding a free event in half of Veterans Park and the Saturday of the same weekend the Darlington Farmer’s Market will take place in the other half of the park.

Weather and other activities have sometimes made Farmers Market attendance sparse, but the combination with the Historical event is sure to bring more people to town.

There will be both participants and visitors to see the encampments, museum displays, demonstrations and live music.

The Historical Society is reaching out to all crafters, artists, sewers, soapmakers, bakers, etc. to come and set up a stand in the west side of Veterans Park on Main Street in Darlington, Saturday morning and stay as long as they would like to Saturday at no charge. Non-profit fund-raisers welcome.

Contact the Historical Society at 608-776-8340 to RSVP.
