Craft 4 a Cause a success

WIOTA - The Wiota Lutheran Church held the Craft 4 A Cause event on Friday, Jan. 6 and Saturday, Jan. 7.

On both days, 32 participants crafted for the K-9 units of Green and Lafayette counties. On Jan. 6, Deputy Charlie Worm and his canine partner, Grischa, from Green County visited the group. On Jan. 7, Lafayette County's Deputy Fred Norder and his canine partner, Cody, visited the group.

Pastor Luke Smetters visited each time.

Those who participated in the event included: Sue Buetzer, Janeen Trame, Sandy Seffrood, Tammy Nehotte, Steph Paulson, Carolyn Abraham, Rhonda Fuchs, Tory Tullis-Zettle, Kristen Nall, Kelly Place, Susie Krueger, Jenna Krueger, Jeanna Rupnow, Ruth Kaiser, Melissa Leverington, Stacy Hill, Julie Ostrander, Brooke Ostrander, Breanna Ostrander, Michelle Daly, Tommi Daly, Brenda Salzwedel, Amber Jenson, Cathi Fisher, Jennifer King, Vickie Pratt, Kari Leach, Tracy Dillon, Jen Prien, Jenna Bocklund, Mo Stites and Dani Goodman.

The Craft 4 A Cause event is held three times a year, each time for a different cause. The next event will be held Friday, Feb. 24 and Saturday, Feb. 25 for victims of domestic violence.
