MONROE — Managing diabetes can feel overwhelming, but those with it do not have to do it alone. The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) Green County Office invites the public to take part in an evidence-based virtual workshop: Healthy Living with Diabetes.
This interactive six-week program is designed to empower individuals living with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, those with prediabetes, or loved ones supporting someone with diabetes. Developed and extensively researched by Stanford University, the workshop provides practical strategies that improve confidence, reduce medical visits, and support long-term health and independence.
Unlike traditional lectures, Healthy Living with Diabetes is an engaging, peer-supported experience led by two trained facilitators. Participants will learn from each other, share experiences, and build a community of support — all from the comfort of their own home.
