Conservation League sends Green County youth to camp

MONROE - The Green County Conservation League provided scholarships to send seven students to attend Nature Adventure Camp at the Central Wisconsin Environmental Station in Amherst Junction last summer.

Monroe students attending were Padraic Houston, son of Todd and Leah Houston; Christina Grenzow, son of John and Mary Jane Grenzow; Lexi Pena, daughter of Krystal Pena; Breann Steiner, daughter of Josh and Elizabeth Steiner; and Nathan Holland, son of Bryan Holland and Shelle Holland. Also attending were Liana Daniels, daughter of Patrick and Corrine Daniels, Juda; and Zoe Endres, Hunts and Stef Endres, Monticello.

The camps are run by the College of Natural Resources, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Camp activities are designed to help boys and girls develop an appreciation for the outdoors, become responsible citizens and future conservation leaders.
