SHULLSBURG - The City of Shullsburg recently announced the 2011 entertainment lineup for their Annual Music in the Park concert series, offering music from a variety of area artists throughout the summer.
The free family concerts begin at approximately 7 p.m. at Shullsburg's Badger Park. Food and beverages will be available for purchase and concert-goers are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs or blankets. The events are held on Thursdays, rain or shine.
The 2011 Music in the Park concert schedule is:
- Thursday, July 14 - The Fever River String Band. The Shullsburg Community Development Corporation will be providing sandwiches and holding their annual ice cream social at the event, starting at 6 p.m.
- Thursday, July 21 - The Wundos. Food and beverage will be provided by Water Street Place, starting at 6 p.m.
- Thursday, July 28 - Mr. Obvious. Food and beverage will be provided by the Wheel-Inn and the Brewster House Restaurant, starting at 6 p.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 4 - The Council Hill Station Band. Food and beverage is being provided by the Shullsburg Lions Club, which will be holding their annual chicken dinner fundraiser that evening, starting at 6 p.m. Tickets for the chicken dinner are $8 for adults and $7 for children; and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
