ARGYLE - The Community Funds of Argyle and Blanchardville/Hollandale are working together to hold school supply drives in their respective communities to collect supplies for local families.
The elementary schools are in need of facial tissue, boxes of 24 crayons, No. 2 pencils; blunt scissors, student scissors; big pink erasers, glue sticks, two-pocket folders, pencil boxes, paint shirts/smocks, bottles of glue, rulers, pencil boxes, packs of loose leaf paper, packs of three- by five-inch cards, boxes of 12 colored pencils; wide-line spiral notebooks, rulers and blue or black pens.
If you purchase any of these school supplies and would like to donate them to the schools, drop them at Amcore Bank in Argyle, Woodford Bank in Blanchardville or Corner Feed & Supply in Hollandale during regular business hours.
