BLANCHARDVILLE - Cameron Colson, Blanchardville, was recognized by the United States Achievement Academy as a student of excellence in band.

Colson, who attends Pecatonica High School, was nominated by James Meuth, a teacher at the school. Colson will appear in the United States Achievement Academy's Official Yearbook, which is published nationally.

Colson is the son of James and Pamela Colson, Blanchardville, and the grandson of Bertha Willborn, Hollandale.
