Monroe Clinic's Gaines Richardson, M.D., will host "Palliative Care," a community workshop designed to educate the general public on palliative care at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 6, at Founders Hall, lower level of the clinic building. The public is invited to attend this free event, which will cover information regarding who should ask for palliative care; management of disease symptoms such as pain, nausea and depression; spiritual support for your health; and, advance care planning and medical decision making
Richardson cares for seriously ill patients, working in partnership with the patient's primary physician and other medical specialists. Refreshments will be served.
