MONROE - Monroe Clinic Hospice is offering a free program called "Handling the Holidays" from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at the St. Camillus Center, 2101 6th St., for adults grieving the loss of a loved one.
The hospice hopes to help people learn skills to cope with grief during the holiday season. The program will help participants including identifying common holiday concerns, exploring depression as a part of grieving, developing practical strategies to handle the holiday season, discussing the role of spiritual comfort during the holidays and creating ways to remember loved ones.
