MONROE — In honor of Heart Health Month, Monroe Clinic’s Cardiology team is hosting “Listen to Your Heartbeat,” an educational event. “Listen to Your Heartbeat” will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13 in the Monroe Clinic Hospital Lobby.
Attendees can participate in free screenings and visit informational booths. Cardiac Calcium Scoring, a non-invasive screening to measure heart disease risk, will take place on a first come basis, at a discounted price, from 4 to 5:20 p.m.
Monroe Clinic’s three cardiologists will be presenting: Simple tips that will improve your lifestyle, presented by Dr. Arif Ahmad; do you know when to get the help your heart needs, presented by Dr. Ali Albaghdadi; and take control of your follow-up care, presented by Dr. Sunil Penesetti.
Following the formal presentations, a “Heart-to-Heart” chat will provide an opportunity for attendees to ask specific questions and get answers from the experienced, board-certified cardiology team.
