MONROE - The Monroe Parks and Recreation Department is offering Flag Football for any fourth, fifth or sixth grade boy or girl. The cost is $19. Flag Football is held Tuesday's after school at Recreation Park. The first practice is from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on September 9 for all participants. Games will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 16 and end on Tuesday, Oct. 21 (no game on Sept. 30-early release from school). Games will start at 3:30 p.m. Times will depend on the number of teams.

Games will begin on Sept. 22. Game times are 3:30 p.m., 4:15 p.m., and 5 p.m.
Registration forms are available at the Parks and Recreation office now and have been distributed to all the Monroe Grade Schools and the Middle School for sixth graders or you can log onto www.cityofmonroe.org and download a registration form from the Fall and Winter brochure. Registration forms are due at the Parks and Recreation office by Friday, Sept. 5.
