City of Monroe hosts blood drive

MONROE - The City of Monroe will host a blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. Monday at the westside fire station, 601 West 17th Street.

At the last drive in September 2017, a total of 63 units of blood were collected. There are currently 32 appointments scheduled for March's drive, with appointments still available. Walk-ins are also encouraged. Save time by completing RapidPass before your appointment.

The need for blood is constant, and just one donation can impact up to three lives. If you would like to donate blood, snacks, or refreshments, volunteer to work at the drive, or have any questions, contact Arianna Voegeli at 608-329-2524 or by email at ameier@cityofmonroe.org. We hope to see you there.
