MONROE - Monroe City Band rehearsals begin 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, in the Monroe Middle School bandroom for the Dec. 7 holiday free public concerts. New members are invited for all sections, particularly clarinet and percussion. Current members are from Monroe, Albany, Monticello, Brodhead and South Wayne.
