MONROE - The January Loaves and Fishes Community Meal will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Jan. 28 at Grace Lutheran Church. This month's dinner is sponsored by David and Kathrine Frey.

MONROE - The First Church of Christ, Scientist, 1411 10th St., has arranged for complementary taxi rides to and from church services for anyone who needs transportation.

MONTICELLO - A Mardi Gras Dinner with authentic New Orleans cuisine will be held at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 10 in fellowship hall at Zwingli United Church of Christ, 416 E. Lake Ave.
Jambalaya and shrimp Creole will be served. Purchase tickets by Feb. 3 at the Zwingli church office.
