Christmas parade set for Nov. 26

MONROE - "Twas the night before Christmas" is this year's theme for the annual Christmas parade, set to begin at 6 p.m. Nov. 26.

Individuals, business and other organizations can participate.

The parade will organize just before 6 p.m. on the north side of the Monroe Middle School and proceed around the Square before returning to the Monroe School District parking lot.

Generators will be available from Precision Drive and Control, Inc., for any entry that needs electricity for lighting. (Participants must contact PDC to reserve and pick up generators.

There is a limited supply which will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.) Monroe Main Street will provide a Santa and Mrs. Claus - no others will be allowed in the parade.

The Monroe Morning Optimist club will host Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Wisconsin Community Bank following the parade.
